How Love & Respect can conquer All bad behaviour

" Intense love does not measure, it just gives." ~ Mother Teresa

This is a comment in response to a question posted by my friend Dianna-Brianne Fairchild.

"......I have wonderful friends on FB, and yet occasionally one will "slip through the cracks" and post an inappropriate comment that goes past poor tastes...sorry but when you have a lot of friends that can't always be helped...HOW DO YOU HANDLE something like that? Do you just delete the comment or do you block the person or both? " - Dianna

" The greatest gift a parent can give a child is unconditional love. As a child wanders and strays, finding his bearings, he needs a sense of absolute love from a parent. There’s nothing wrong with tough love, as long as the love is unconditional." ~George W. Bush (Politics aside people ;)

My comment,

I Love & respect all my friends, unconditionally. I feel fortunate and blessed because God has given me the strength to tolerate, understand, respect and Love the worst of my enemies.....and pursue a friendship with them by keeping the bridge in tact. The key is to try and share this understanding with them because their perspective and attitude towards life may be skewed by their experiences and personal stories. The better you get at life the more reproaches, hate, envy and negativity you'll have to deal with, it could be professional rivals, two faced friends, near and dear ones that you least suspect etc... Some people like indulging in these poor tastes and lowly emotions because it works for them or they can't help but give into to it because it has enslaved their minds. It could be an act of pushing negative thoughts, fears, doubts or simply trying to engage in sadistic psychological intimidation or pursuing maligned agendas. My advice ~ Go with an attitude of equipoise, don't respond to it because you add energy or fuel to the fire they are directing at you. Take a step backwards and maintain your composure, character and integrity, continue to be who you are and  do what you were doing before they walked in with that comment, and smile with understanding and Love them regardless of their behavior. Forgive them and empathize for where they're at. Give them a second chance or few more if you can. Lead by example, open them to a whole a new perspective and show them the unconditional Love and grace that God has shown you. Love is a very powerful thing, it cracks away at all false egos one truth at a time. And if they don't seem to budge or if you're too busy and you don't quiet have the time,  save it for another day. And if they still persist block them, don't just defriend them because it will still keep the door open at their end. They'll still be engaging in this bad habit or thought process with others and you don't want that negativity occasionally directed at you. You can't always change the world but you can definitely make a small and significant difference with every  step you take. You can always Love and respect people but be cautious, understanding and tolerant of their behavior. Life and society has shaped them and robbed them of the better choices they should have made for themselves. This is what I try and do most of the time because this is what I think God would do if he lived amongst us. I know my answer's long but I sure hope it helps. God bless you, Dianna. You're Q & A 's and posts are simply awesome !!! :)
